pattō ya tamuddēsaṁ, mattamahāgayavarāō uttiṇṇō
thōūṇa jiṇavarindaṁ, uvaviṭṭhō magahasāmantō

And having reached that place, he descended from his magnificent, rutting elephant; / having praised the supreme lord of the Jinas, the lord of Magadha sat down.
