tamhā asāsayamiṇaṁ, māṇusanammaṁ asārasuhasaṅgaṁ
mōttūṇa rāyalacchī, jiṇavaradikkhaṁ pavajjāmi
Therefore, abandoning this impermanent human birth, an association with essenceless pleasures, / and royal fortune, I shall embrace the initiation of the supreme Jina."
