ghōraṁ tavaṁ tappaï gimhakālē, mēhāgamē ciṭṭhaï channaṭhāṇē
hēmantamāsēsu tavōvaṇatthō, jhāṇaṁ pasatthaṁ vimalaṁ ca rēi
He performs fierce austerity in the hot season; in the rainy season he stays in a sheltered place; / in the winter months, abiding in the penance grove, he cultivates praiseworthy and pure meditation.
