mēhamalapaḍalamukaṁ, dhōyaṁ dhārāsu nimmalaṁ jāyaṁ
rēhaï jalaṁ va gayaṇaṁ, tārā-kumuēsu sasi-haṁsaṁ
Freed from the veil of cloud-impurities, washed clean by rain-torrents, / the sky shone like water, with the moon as a swan among the water-lilies of the stars.
