suṇiūṇa tāṇa vayaṇaṁ, ruṭṭī lakāhiyō bhaṇaï ēttō
vavaharaha jō hu ēvaṁ, baddhō sō mañcapāsēhiṁ
Hearing their words, the enraged lord of Laṅkā spoke thereupon:
"He who acts in this manner is bound indeed by the nooses of death!
