aha saṁsārasamuddē, bīvō kammāṇilāhamaō bharahē
mahurāpurīe jāō, nāmēṇaṁ jaüṇadēvō sō

Now, blown by the wind of karma upon the ocean of saṁsāra, / in Bharata, in the city of Madhurā, there arose a soul named Jatuṇadeva.
