dujjaṇasahāē paḍiyaṁ nimmalakavvaṁ pi lahaï na païṭṭhaṁ
jalabinduvva sutattē āyasabhāṇammi pakkhittō

Flawless poetry, having fallen into the company of the wicked, finds no resting place, / just like a drop of water cast into a red-hot iron pan.
