sō antarārivijaē rōgaddōsā ya antarā sattū
tavvijae cciya sōkkhaṁ tēhiṁ jiyāṇaṁ puṇō dukkhaṁ

That [Dharma] consists in conquering inner enemies; and the inner enemies are passion and hatred. / True happiness lies only in conquering them; to those conquered by them comes suffering again and again.
