puvvaviruddhasurō sō vilasaï nūṇaṁ imēṇa rūvēṇa
na hu kēvaliṇā bhaṇiyā bhāvā iha annahā honti

“That deity, an enemy from a previous life, surely disports himself in this form. / For the matters declared by the omniscient one do not turn out otherwise in this world.”
