tā annabhavaviḍhattē dukkhammi samāgayammi kō sōgō?
kiṁ vāvi vilaviēṇaṁ sarīrāyāsabhūēṇaṁ?
Therefore, when suffering ordained by another birth has arrived, what cause is there for grief? / Or what is the use of lamentation, which merely exhausts the body?
