raṇayanivahaṁ taddīvatthaṁ aṇēyapayārayaṁ naravara! varaṁ ghēttuṁ majjhaṁ samappiya sāyaraṁ
sivagapahuṇā sammaṁ divvē vimāṇavarē ṭhiō gayapurapuraṁ tēṇāṇīō khaṇēṇa taō ahaṁ

Having taken up the heap of various kinds of excellent jewels belonging to that island, O best of men! and affectionately handed it over to me, / placed in the excellent celestial chariot, I was then brought in a moment to the city of Hatthiṇāura by Lord Sivaga.
