vahaṁ vihāyā ' 'su pahiṭhṭhamāṇasō muṇīṇa sō ambarisī surāhamō
kayatthamappāṇa maṇē gaṇantō jahāgayaṁ tāhi gaō saṭhāṇayaṁ
Having swiftly carried out the slaughter of the ascetics, with an exultant mind, that lowest of gods, the Ambarīṣa,
considering himself fulfilled in his heart, then went to his own abode just as he had come.
