jiṇavayaṇasuivihīṇā kajjākajjāiṁ nēva jāṇanti
bhakkhēyābhakkhēyaṁ pēyāpēyaṁ na lakkhēnti
Bereft of hearing the words of the Jina, they do not at all know what should and should not be done; / they discern not what is edible and inedible, or what is drinkable and undrinkable.
