tiṇamittampi adinnaṁ na ya ghittavvaṁ asuddhacittēṇa
dhārēyavvaṁ ca sayā nava guttisaṇāhabambhavayaṁ
Even a mere blade of grass that is ungiven must not be taken with an impure mind; / and the vow of celibacy endowed with the nine protections must always be maintained.
