rāgāō hōi dōsō dōsāō hōi vēra-sambandhō
vērāō pāṇi-ghāō tattō guru-kamma-bandhotti
From attachment arises hatred; from hatred arises the bond of enmity; / from enmity comes the slaughter of living beings; and from that, the bondage of heavy karma.
