ahavā annaha paricintijjaï saharisakaṇḍujjaēṇa hiyaēṇa
pariṇamaï annahacciya kajjārambhō vihivasēṇa

Or rather, one reflects in one way with an eager, agitated heart,
but through the power of Fate the outcome of one's undertaking turns out quite otherwise.
