kāūma daṁsaṇaṁ garūyarāyasahiyaṁ hayāsa! rē! divva!
annattha taṁ mayacchiṁ jōḍēntō ki naṁ lajjihisi?
Having granted that sight attended by deep passion, O wretched Fate,
will you not feel ashamed in joining that deer-eyed maiden to another?
