paccakkhaṁ hi aṇiccaṁ nāūṇavi jaṁ thiraṁva mannanti
visayā ' 'sattā sattā, ēyaṁ avivēyasāmatthaṁ
Though it is manifestly impermanent, beings attached to sense pleasures
regard it as permanent: this is the power of delusion.
