ēvampi tā dijjaü pavvajjā tāhi gahiyasuttatthō
sayamēva vivēgajuō ujjhissaï rāgasambandhaṁ

Even so, let initiation be given. Then, having grasped the meaning of the scriptures, / endowed with discernment, he will himself abandon the bond of passion."
