tā piya! kimpi uvāyaṁ cintasu pīḍā na hōī jaha tumha
ahayampi virahagurudukkhabhāiṇī jaha na hōmitti

Therefore, beloved, devise some means so that no harm may come to you, / and so that I too do not become one who experiences the heavy grief of separation.”
