tattō tīē visannō savvōvi hu pariyaṇō piyā bhāyā
cintēnti ya kiṁ hōhī aliyaṁ nēmittiyāiṭṭhaṁ?

all the attendants, the father, and the brother despaired on her account, / and they thought: “Will the astrologer's prediction turn out to be false?”
