dōnnivi guruṇā sahiyā viharantā bahuvihēsu dēsēsu
satthēṇa samaṁ caliyā rayaṇapuraṁ nāma varanayaraṁ

Both of them, accompanied by their guru, wandering in various countries, / set out with a caravan toward the excellent city named Ratnapura.
