tā kavaḍēṇaṁ kēṇavi vaïrassantaṁ karēmi iṇhimpi
iya cintiūṇa vandaï tē muṇiṇō paramaviṇaēṇa

So by some deceit I shall now bring an end to this enmity'; / having thought thus, he bowed to those monks with supreme reverence.
