kahi ṇaṃ bhaṃte! dīvasamuddā? kevatiyā ṇaṃ bhaṃte! dīvasamuddā? kiṃsaṃṭhiyā ṇaṃ bhaṃte! dīvasamuddā? evaṃ jahā jīvābhigame dīvasamudduddeso so ceva iha vi joisamaṃḍiuddesagavajjo bhāṇiyavvo jāva pariṇāmo, jīvauvavāo jāva anaṃtakhutto|
sevaṃ bhaṃte! sevaṃ bhaṃte! tti|

"Where, Venerable Sir, are the continents and oceans? How many, Venerable Sir, are the continents and oceans? Of what shape, Venerable Sir, are the continents and oceans?"
"Just as in the Jīvābhigama in the section on continents and oceans, precisely that is to be stated here too, excluding the section on the planetary spheres, up to transformation, the rebirth of souls, up to countless times."
