tau vatsād api rakṣantau sarvaṃ lokaṃ rarakṣatuḥ |
yad-arthaṃ prātarāśādi yasmin daitya-vadhādi ca || [anuṣṭubh]
Protecting all the worlds, the two guarded them even from a calf,
for whose sake [happened] the breakfast and the rest, and in which [day] the slaying of the demon and the rest occurred.
