1.11.48

ekam ekam adhaḥ kṛtvā mukhaṃ tatra caturmukhaḥ |
namann anya-mukhasyordhvī-bhāvāt pūrtiṃ jagāma na || [anuṣṭubh]
yadyapi na naman mumude vidhir ekāsyānavāg-bhāvāt |
tadapi harer mukhacandrā-lokālopān mudaṃ lebhe || [upagīti]

Lowering one face after another there, the four-faced one, / bowing down, did not attain completion because of the upward rising of his other face. ||
Although the Creator did not rejoice while bowing because one face did not point downward, / nonetheless he obtained joy from the unbroken sight of Hari’s moon-like face. ||
