[57] tad evaṃ kathakayoḥ kathāṃ prathayitvā sabhyeṣu sākṣād iva kalita-tat-tat-keli-sandhayoḥ kṛtāñjali-bandhayos tad-dine' pi pūrvavad eva sarve gṛha-vartmani vartamānā nija-nija-spṛhaṇīyaṃ karma nirmimāṇā api tām eva līlāṃ bṛṃhitāṃ hṛdi jagṛhire |

So, when the two storytellers had unfolded the tale, as if displaying to the assembly the junctures of those various pastimes, and stood with folded hands, on that day as well, all the people, heading along the path to their homes, even while attending to their respective desirable duties, held that very magnified līlā in their hearts.
