taṃ pūjayāmāsa mudā nāgaḥ patnyaś ca sādaram |
divyāmbara-sraṅ-maṇibhiḥ parārdhyair api bhūṣaṇaiḥ |
divya-gandhānulepaiś ca mahatyotpala-mālayā ||
Joyfully and respectfully the serpent and his wives worshipped him / with divine garments, garlands, and gems, and also with the most precious ornaments, / with celestial fragrant ointments, and with a great garland of blue lotuses.
