1.13.23

na jñātavān api yataḥ sa tu taṃ prahāraṃ
tenātiroṣa-bhara-nāsti-viveka-caryaḥ |
bhūyaḥ parāk-sthiti vinardya vikīrṇa-lattas
tenātha vatsaka ivāraci dhenukākhyaḥ || [vasantatilakā]

Since he did not even feel that blow,
and because of that, his conduct devoid of discernment from an excess of fury,
roaring again with his rear turned and throwing out a kick,
he named Dhenuka was thereupon seized by him like a calf.
