harim anu vindati śaśval lakṣmīr iti yā tu sarvataḥ khyātā |
tām api kila gopāyituṃ gopī-saṃjñā jayanti tā lakṣmyaḥ || [āryā*]

Although it is renowned everywhere that Lakṣmī constantly attends upon Hari, / yet to hide even her, victorious are those Lakṣmīs bearing the name of gopīs.
