[53] vṛndā sānandaṃ padāravindayoḥ patantī sānumodaṃ ruroda | sā tu tāṃ niravahittham utthāpya sāntvayitvā gahanāya prasthāpayāmāsa |

[53] Falling at her lotus feet with joy, Vṛndā wept in consent. Pūrṇamāsī gently raised her up without feigning, consoled her, and sent her off into the forest.
