[4] The members of the assembly said: "O you who are filled with good-natured inclinations! If you are wandering dancers, praising like bards at every festival, then let your suitable artistic skills be exhibited by you, especially by this one whose form is the delight of the extremely beautiful Rama [Lakṣmī] and a dark splendor; who indeed delights the eyes with wondrous peculiarities: having wondrous limbs (citrāṅga) yet not a tiger (citrāṅga); having a peacock feather (candrakī) yet not a peacock (candrakī); clad in yellow garments (pītāṃśuka) yet not a yellow silk cloth (pītāṃśuka); a dark rain-cloud (śyāma-ghana) yet not a dark rain-cloud (śyāma-ghana); having lower lip skilled on the flute (vaṃśa-pravīṇādhara) yet not lower lip skilled in his lineage (vaṃśa-pravīṇādhara); an embodiment of virtues (guṇa-rūpī) yet not made of bowstrings (guṇa-rūpī); holding knowledge (vidyādhara) yet not a demigod (vidyādhara)!"
