viśvacikīr api sa vidhiḥ pipaṭhīr yasmād bhavet tasmin |
ko vā caturaṃ-manyaḥ prathayatu nija-cāturīṃ kṛṣṇe || [upagīti]
Even that Creator, though desiring to perceive everything, would desire to learn from Him; / what conceited person, then, could display his own cleverness before Kṛṣṇa? ||17
