[44] api tu tasya gokula-sadeśa-pradeśa-praveśa eva sarveṣām abhiniveśa-hetuḥ, yataḥ-
cakṣur-bhājāṃ phalam idam aho yad vrajasya praveśe
gobhiḥ sākaṃ sakhi-valayitaṃ dṛśyate bhrātṛ-yugmam |
yugme tasmin laghur iha mukhāmbhojam asmin muralyā
dīptiḥ kiñcin nigamana-kalāśāli netraṃ ca tatra || [mandākrāntā]

[44] Moreover, his entrance into the region near Gokula was the cause of everyone's absorption, because: / Oh, this is the fruit of those having eyes: that at the entrance of Vraja, / the pair of brothers is seen surrounded by friends together with the cows! / In that pair, the younger one's lotus face here, on it the radiance of the flute, / and the eye endowed with the art of somewhat deducing [their love] there!
