bhuktvā vastrālepa-veśān gṛhītvā
vipraṃ vahniṃ gāṃ parikrāmatādrim |
nātrāpy aṅghri-krāmitāvaśyakatvaṃ
svacchandatvād yānam apy atra diṣṭam || [śālinī]

"Having eaten and taken clothes, unguents, and ornaments, / circumambulate the brāhmaṇa, the fire, the cows, and the mountain. / Nor is walking by foot mandatory in this; / out of free will, a vehicle is also directed for this [purpose]."
