[14] tad etad vipralambha-lambhanam apy akliṣṭa-varṇana-viśiṣṭam ākarṇya tan-mukhaṃ ca nirvarṇya, tad eva savarṇair asavarṇair apy adhi parvam āgataiḥ sarvakair nirṇinye | tathā hi-

[14] Hearing this speech, which, even though deceptive, was endowed with unhindered eloquence, and looking at His face, that very [course of action] was settled upon by all those of the same caste and different castes who had arrived for the festival. For:
