tatra ca-
bālā bhītiṃ yauvanonmatta-cittā
hāsaṃ vṛddhāś citram arhās tu bhaktim |
yātā ye ye teṣu sarveṣu devaḥ
śuddhāṃ tuṣṭiṃ kautukitvād babhāja || [śālinī]

And there—
The children felt fear; those whose minds were maddened with youth felt laughter; / the elders felt wonder; but the worthy ones felt devotion; / and to all of them, whatever state they attained, the deity / gave pure satisfaction out of his playful nature. ||1.18.38
