[2] tadā ca kadācid ekasyāṃ sandhyāyāṃ gocāraṇa-bhū-bhāgataḥ samāgataḥ saṅkarṣaṇa-sahacāritayā labdha-harṣaḥ sa-kutuka-tṛṣṇaḥ śrī-kṛṣṇas tadīya-caritam ālocitavān | tatraiva ca prabhūta-kutukākuta-sambhūtatayā vasati sma |

At that time, once at dusk, having arrived from the cow-pasturing grounds, having obtained delight through companionship with Saṅkarṣaṇa, and having an eager curiosity, Śrī Kṛṣṇa observed their conduct. And born of the intention of abundant curiosity, he stayed right there.
