diśi diśi jātāḥ snigdhā vyatimilitāḥ suṣṭhu bibhrati sneham |
medura-mudira-samūhe muhur api yasmāt tathā dṛṣṭam || [āryā]

Those who are tender and born in different directions, when meeting together, bear affection exceedingly; / for time and again it is seen to be so among masses of dense clouds.
