śrute murali-kākale nija-nijāhvaya-prāpake
samaṃ vraja-nata-bhruvaḥ sapadi phulla-dehā babhuḥ |
anaṅgam api vardhitaṃ vihitavān aho yas tadā
kathaṃ na kila vardhayen nija-kalā-balenāṅganāh ? || [pṛthvī]

When the faint flute sound, calling each of their names, was heard,
the bodies of the arched-eyebrow women of Vraja blossomed at once in unison.
Aha, when he who then intensified even the god of love,
