ātmārāmā apy aho yasya gandhād
brahmānandaṃ bāḍham āccādayanti |
pūrṇānandaḥ sa svayaṃ hanta tābhiḥ
svānandāya krīḍanāya prayete ||
"Ah! He by whose fragrance even those who delight in the Self / thoroughly cover the bliss of Brahman— / that selfsame Full Bliss, alas, exerted himself / to play with them for his own delight!"
