[23] govindaś ca tāṃs tathāvidhān netra-pathān vidhāya manohatān vijñāya ca hasati sma-ehi manyāmahe, yājñikebhyaḥ sva-labhyam abhyādadidhve yathā vṛkṣebhyaḥ iti |

[23] And Govinda, bringing them into the path of his vision in that condition and knowing they were disheartened, smiled: “Come, we imagine that you have fetched what was due to you from the sacrificers just as from trees!”
