gavādhva-sambandha-nibandha-vastravān
praśasta-vetrān muralī-puraskṛtān |
piñchāvataṃsān avataṃsa-sundarān
vilokya kṛṣṇāgam apy amaṃsata ||
Beholding those who had clothes bound for cow-paths, / who held splendid canes, who carried flutes before them, / whose crests were peacock feathers, and who were handsome with ornaments, / they thought that Kṛṣṇa himself had arrived.
