tāṃ jyautsnīṃ tac ca vṛndā-vipinam api ca tat kuñja-vṛndaṃ tathā tāḥ śayyā dve dve ca te te hari-hariṇa-dṛśau tāś ca sa-prema-līlāḥ | paśyat paśyan mano me sapadi viṣayitām ujjhad atrānumuhyat paśyad drāg yāti tat-tad-viṣaya-valayatāṃ hanta paśyāni kena? || [sragdharā]

Seeing and still seeing that moonlight, and that Vṛndā forest, and also that multitude of bowers, / and those beds two by two, and those two deer-eyed ones, Hari and [Rādhā], and those playful pastimes full of love, / my mind, instantly shedding all sense-objects, becomes bewildered; gazing in haste, it becomes encircled by those very objects—alas, through what means may I see?
