1.28.22

jīvo ratnaṃ veti bhedākṣamaṃ taj-
jyotir-mātraṃ vastu yakṣād gṛhītvā |
paśyantīnāṃ yoṣitāṃ kaṃsa-vairī
ninye kāmaṃ rāma-sāyujyam eva ||

Taking from the Yakṣa that object of mere effulgence,
incapable of being distinguished as a soul or a gem,
the enemy of Kaṃsa, as the women watched,
brought it, in according with his desire, into union with Rāma. ||
