anyas tu jala-parjanyaḥ sukha-parjanya eṣa tu |
sadā yo dhinute sṛṣṭair upanandādibhir janam ||parjanyaḥ kṛṣi-vṛttīnāṃ bhuvi lakṣyo vyalakṣyata |
tad etan nādbhutaṃ sthūla-lakṣyatāṃ yad asau gataḥ ||
"The other cloud is a cloud of water, but this one is a cloud of joy, / who constantly gladdens the people with his offspring, Upananda and the rest. / On earth, a rain-cloud is seen to be aimed at by those living by agriculture; / so it is no wonder that he has become an aim of vast munificence.
