[41] tataś ca tad etan madhukaṇṭha-sūkta-sudhākaram āsādya ratnākara ivocchalad-aṅga-taraṅgas tad-antar-bahiraṅga-sabhya-saṅghas tad-upari-hṛdayaṅgama-ratnāvaliṃ vikīrṇavān hṛdayāvaliṃ vā vitīrṇavān iti svayam api na bhidāṃ vidāmbabhūva |

And then, having reached this nectar-moon of Madhukaṇṭha's well-spoken words, the gathering of assembly members, both inner and outer, its limb-waves surging like an ocean, could not themselves discern whether they were scattering a heart-captivating row of jewels upon him or offering up their row of hearts.
