[62] atha tayā vṛtta-sva-citta-vṛtti-prathayā tat-kathayā ślathitavāntaḥ śrī-vraja-dharitrī-kāntaḥ kānta-nijālaṅkāra-vāraṃ sūta-kumārāya vitatāra | śrīmatī vrajapati-patnī ca mahā-nīlamaṇi-maya-nāyakaṃ hāraṃ vihāpayāmāsa |

[62] Then, his heart deeply softened by that narrative recounting the movements of his own mind, the glorious lord of the land of Vraja bestowed an array of his own charming ornaments upon the bard's son; and the glorious wife of the lord of Vraja gave away a necklace whose central gem was made of a great sapphire.
