yady aho suta bhavān adhīśvaras
tarhy api sphuratu te padābjayoḥ |
prītir atra ca paratra naḥ sadā
kṛṣṇatām anu yataḥ satṛṣṇatā ||
Moreover: / 'Even if, ah son, you are the supreme Lord, / still may love for your lotus feet ever appear to us / in this world and the next, / for our longing is directed toward your being Kṛṣṇa.'
