[87] ṛṣir uvāca-yat khalu vasudeva-svasrīyāṇāṃ yudhiṣṭhirādīnāṃ dhṛtarāṣṭreṇa duṣṭa-bhraṣṭa-rāṣṭrī-kṛtānāṃ pakṣasya puṣṭīkaraṇāya bhavitā | te ca tvām eva paramātiṣṭhamānā bhakta-vaśyatāṃ vāvaśyamānasya tava kaitava-rahita-bhakti-bhāja iti | yad-arthaṃ prathamatas tāvad abhijātam abhijātaṃ cākrūraṃ dūtatayā dūram āpayiṣyasi |

The sage said: 'That which will serve to support the faction of Vasudeva's nephews, Yudhiṣṭhira and the others, who have been deprived of their kingdom by the wicked Dhṛtarāṣṭra. And, relying solely on you as supreme, they partake of unfeigned devotion to you, who are ever subdued by your devotees. For that purpose, you will first send Akrūra, noble and born of high descent, far away as an envoy.
